A new Sithengi board was elected at a special general meeting on November 16th 2007 which may prove to be the first step in the revival of South Africa's key annual film and TV industry event.
The board however faces an uncertain future with major financial issues awaiting resolution.

I reckon at the end of the day it comes down to the talent and integrity of the individual and a lot depends on the story they are telling.

Yes Pot. I don't believe in proscribing or prescribing what stories people can tell.
This is a bit of a hot topic over here (naturally) what with the need to see transformation at all levels in the industry etc. Some interesting comments on the bottom of that article though...
